Two local artists.

Both Tim and Christine live in the village of Pilton on the edge of Barnstaple. They both paint landscapes, Tim in oil, Christine in acrylic and pastel, but their styles are very different - Tim's paintings are subtle in tone, Christine's stronger in colour. This made - we believe - for an interesting Exhibition.

We especially enjoyed meeting so many local people, and sharing tea and cakes with a number of them. We were too busy with last minute painting to do any baking so the cakes were home baked from Pilton Stores, the Delicatessen in Pilton Street. They were so good that we all now need to go on diets!
